Take a few minutes to warm up your muscles before you begin exercising or lifting any weights. Stretching and Warming up your muscles and making them more flexible can be accomplished by doing some gentle workouts. You'll be less likely to harm yourself during a workout if you do it this way.
Warm-ups can include riding an exercise bike, walking, jogging, or even simple exercises. Start slowly and build up momentum and energy as you go, rather than starting at the pace you want to maintain throughout your workout. Set a timer for when you'll stop and then continue with the rest of your workout.
